new product development initiatives. These will include but are not limited to:
weld fixtures, assembly fixtures, robotic weld cells, and robotic material
handling cells. This engineer must champion the design, build, installation,
and long-term technical assistance of these manufacturing cells. This employee
will need to streamline current manufacturing processes while working alongside
new product development in order to manufacture next generation products. The
engineer will be asked to utilize 2D and 3D CAD technologies to maintain and
adjust manufacturing cell designs and plant layouts to maximize production
efficiency.
This
manufacturing engineer must be able to develop and implement capital or expense
projects. This will include researching new and established manufacturing
technologies, planning the capital and time needed to implement the technology,

be responsible for procuring the necessary equipment and installing it in the
manufacturing plant while meeting cost and time targets.
This
engineer will also be asked to participate in product and process design
reviews. The position is responsible for
helping to improve the quality of the product while lowering the cost to
produce it. Communication and interpersonal skills are important. This engineer
