Production Supervisor

Manage all manufacturing processes to achieve timely deliveries, delivery times, manufacturing costs, safety, quality and maintenance.
Manage supervise and develop staff.
Direct all manufacturing operations, assembly, continuous improvement in all operations and assembly line processes, and assembly of component kits.
Recommend capacity adjustments to the plant manager, equipment, machinery, personnel.
Maintain the updated documentation of the SGC of the areas under its responsibility.
Manage and control the non-conforming material that is generated in the area, informing the Quality Engineer.
Manage and control the generation of risky waste generated in the area.
Record the attendance of the assembly personnel daily.
Capture of daily production report of personnel assembly.
Verification of the progress of the weekly production plan.
Calculation of the metrics per day: efficiency, personnel performance among others.
Participate in the weekly results meeting with the Operations team.

Experience ISO TS, IATF 16949 preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a metal fabrication or assembly environment.
Experience in direct supervision of manufacturing.
Experience in leading the successful participation of employees.
Demonstrated competence in training / development of unionized personnel.
Must be familiar with manufacturing concepts such as Kanban, MRPII, Restriction Management and Total Predictive Maintenance, 5S's
Continuous Improvement
Demonstrated ability to help the HR function be positive.
Knowledge of required safety regulations.
Work by Objectives (Safety, PPM's, Waste, OTIF, Efficiency, TPM, 5S's)
