Area of
Accountability:
Support
Marketing initiatives in key areas of marketing management, including the
following; price analysis and overall price management including system updates
and system upgrades. Statistical
analysis to highlight trends and compile summary reviews on accounts and
products. Market research, (OEM and
Aftermarket) to assist in the development of marketing strategies, develop
aftermarket promotions, coordinate training initiatives. Promote appropriate
communications both internally and with the Field Sales organization
Major
Responsibilities:
1. Provide
assistance in managing marketing programs, developing metrics, reporting trends
and meeting customer requirements including but not limited to competitor
share, Hendrickson market share, media and website analytics, sales history
trends, market survey data and market-based analytics.
2. Act as
liaison to Sales team by providing assistance with presentations, trade show
scheduling, on-site trainings, product information, Monthly sales data and
other requests as needed
3. Track
and report Key metrics assign by Ops/Marketing Manager including but not
limited to orders/sales trend, customer specific information, market share,
segments analysis and customer engagement on social media and reports that
assist in planning and forecasting
4. Maintain
customer and competitor market-based information databases and all other
related content on Trailer Marketing SharePoint site
5. Assist
Program Managers on writing product announcements, product updates, including
distribution. Coordinates and contributes content to the monthly Marketing
Newsletter
6. Release
quarterly Price to Canadian customer and update contracts in ERP system
7. Oversee
tracking and coordination of assigned projects in key functional areas as
listed above to ensure marketing goals and deadline are met. Track progress and
inform Ops/Marketing Manager of project status
8. Help
with trade shows, HDAW and all promos with detail analysis and recommendations
to Ops/Marketing Manager
9. Provide
input/support on continuous improvement for department processes and function.
10. Assist
Operations Manager with marketing, pricing projects, LTA and AOP
11. Month
end report updates, Marketing summary, and detail Market share analysis...
12. Other
duties as assigned
Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s
Degree in business administration or related field.
·
Sales
and/or Marketing experience in transportation industry or engineered products
preferred.
·
Exceptional
interpersonal and communication skills, (written and verbal).
·
Bilingual
communication skills are an asset
·
Ability
to interface with customers, suppliers and intercompany individuals at all
levels.
·
A
basic mechanical / technical aptitude is required to assist with customer
training.
·
Computer
literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
·
Self-motivated,
confident and assertive with good organizational and planning skills.
·
Energetic,
results oriented individual, detail oriented with strong analytical skills
