Hendrickson is searching for an Accounting Associate to join their finance team in Woodridge, IL.  

This individual will be responsible for the following:
• Accounts Receivable/Cash Application – Manages cash application, collection and debit memo processing for all customers.  Maintains database integrity and reporting for open/closed debit memos on a timely basis. Verify, reconcile, and input all cash receipts to AR trial balance.  Provides routine aging analysis and debit memo summary reporting.  Process daily invoicing and management of customer sales.
• Credit and Collections - Systematically contact customers whose accounts are past due, or about to become due, to inform them of the condition of their accounts and to request timely payments. Issue all daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports on a timely basis.  Keep accounting management apprised of account status by customer
• Accounts Payable – Prepare, print and distribute check runs weekly and manual checks as required.  Perform A/P vendor maintenance.  Provides back-up and assistance to Accounting Representative as required
• Payroll – Provides back-up and assistance to Accounting Representative for salary and hourly payroll processing as required. 
• General Accounting – Prepares journal entries as part of the month end close process.  Performs general ledger account reconciliation and analysis of transactional accounts. Assists with month and year closing including working with internal and external auditors. Provide assistance with Annual Operating Plan and Financial forecasts. Manages the tracking and reconciliation of capital expenditures.
• Miscellaneous – Produces various daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested.  Assists with special projects to support departmental goals and objectives. Ensure all records are filed and well organized.


The successful candidate will possess:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business (required).
• 0-3 years’ experience in the Accounting field
• A/R, A/P, payroll and general ledger experience are beneficial
• Knowledge of office applications primarily in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to relocate at a future date preferred
